That 'empty' thing we experience, even if we fill our lives with people and the gadgets of mammon, is that inner place where God is that longs for our attention. Perhaps it is even God Himself, longing for us to turn in and be with Him Who is Immanuel, 'God With Us'. Loneliness can be seen as a call, even the call of God saying to us, "Be still, and come away with Me; come here, inside, where I Am, waiting for you. Come in and find yourself with Me!"
Dadnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15221347.post-31697741100051429122014-07-24T09:47:50.068-07:002014-07-24T09:47:50.068-07:00Joining you!

It's hard with so much looming out there on the horizon sometimes, but He asks us to let HIM worry about everything else and for us to just think about today.

I've always loved Psalm 118:24: "This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

He made today to be today. Yes, he COULD have made today so many different things. We could be living in China or on the MOON or be dinosaurs!!! (...ok, maaaaybe not. but He totally COULD have-he's God!! :). Aaaaanyways, the point is that, in his sovereignty, God's made today today. And that-simply the fact that He made it as it is- is enough to make us rejoice and be glad in it :)

I love your family and love reading updates too, by the way!! I am confident that the Lord will use that dark time in your life to be able to minister and help many others. Praying that much fruit will come as a result. I also struggle very often with getting ahead of myself and worrying about all manner of decisions to be made. "Do not worry about tomorrow..." is very often something I have to remind myself of. Here's to do this whole mommy thing one day at a time! :)The Foster Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16562193876077953870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15221347.post-42379220181061836792013-01-30T19:57:19.763-08:002013-01-30T19:57:19.763-08:00I'm proud of you.I'm proud of you.Mikeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00443762744919644732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15221347.post-39463023898519407472013-01-29T03:58:07.962-08:002013-01-29T03:58:07.962-08:00i like you :)i like you :)Jamiehttp://highcountries.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
