Dear Mom, I did it.

I wanted to try something new... So I did.
Clean and cool...

Singing Yaya to sleep for a joke...
oops, then he did actually fall asleep.
I haven't had hair this short since senior year of high school... wish me styling luck.

thanks Jamie. Means a lot to me. I would like to plead temporary insanity except there is no turning back.
It's only hair right?
It's funny I thought of you twice. Once when I cut it: I thought, HEY JAMIE totally cut her long hair.
And then I thought of when my hair accidently dyed jet black and Andy was like, "It's alright... it's only your crown of glory."
ha ha ha!
Here's to my crown of glory and being a trophy of grace.
Love you sister.

Thanks Amy.
Mom, how did I get such an amazing cheerleader. Thanks for the talk this morning. Thanks for loving me this morning and every morning. I am so lucky to have you.
Holly, that first haircut picture, don't you think I look like you? I mean, I'm not as cute or as blond... but sort of a brunette Holly. Don't you think?
P.S. I love you three.

How nice that you love those three. That leaves just ONE commenter that you ignored...

That's kind of creepy, Jordan Schupbach that you wrote under annonymous. I was like, "what the heck?"
I didn't want to include you with the other three because I know how writing about my love for you would take it's own post.
I love you.
I do.
You are my challenger and encourager. You make me laugh. You make me cry. You tickle me to tears... even now when I'm 24. You don't just hug me, you monkey leap on me when I enter a room.
You love life and live it to the fullest. You are in the top three for favorite brothers.
I love you SO much.
I think you are great.
I love you.
Thanks for being my fan and friend. Thanks for being my big brother.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! It was awesome to open your blog and see you look so different! you look gorgeous! that hair cut is flattering. I wont lie, I LOVED your long hair - so maybe now you can mail it to me? Did you keep it? ha ha! that would've been awesome to make extensions out of it and wear your hair. am i creepy? YES!

anyways. random tangent.

your hair looks so adorable. i like it short. i've never known you with short hair! good choice. again, very flattering.

maybe you could stick some of your hair in the journal. like when i was in 1st grade my mom got my hair cut for the FIRST TIME EVER and put some of it in my baby book. It could be like that. :)

Love you Jo! congrats on the new do.

Hey Jamie O. thanks for the comment. Isn't it funny that I had such a hard transition? So thanks for the confidence booster. One night I laid there thinking, "What have I done?" and I gently reminded myself that hair is hair... and not going to determine anything but the amount of time it takes for me to get ready. My one regret now? I forgot I wanted to save my hair for locks of love. So it looks like I'll be growing it out again. Thanks for the compliment. It is growing on me so i am enjoying it now.
Kelli, I totally wanted to send a lock of my hair to my mother. The first cut was so shocking. It was SO long. I didn't want to creep out the guy and we were already having communication issues so I just kept my little mouth shut. You are hilarious that you want my hair.
I love it now though too. It took me a couple days to appreciate it but now I am thoroughly pleased with the style. :)
Women and hair issues are so funny. I am glad I went through this hair cut single because there is no describing the wave of emotions I went through. It was like a bad dream the first day or two. ha ha ha
I may be single forever for mentioning that. :) ha ha ha just kidding

How are you girl? Taking care of my Mom still?
Thanks for the comments. I need an update on your life so be sure to pass on all the fun stories of life, love and mayhem at the LaZBoy to my Mom so she can pass them on to me.
