Yes I am aware of the fact that I am not "normal"

This blog is in response to my father's comment on January 20th.
When he was "complimenting me" he mentioned my "webbed toes"
and apparently my Mother was upset that he would make public such a private situation.
Luckily!! He couldn't erase it. So I would like to share my toes with you all and the following comment. READ ON!!

Let the record show the I am SO confident that I have the cutest toes that I will NOT erase my Father's previous comment. It is not exactly true that they are webbed... they are in fact, as my brother Jeremy referred to them, "stemming from one trunk" and not all of them but just two of them. I would feel completely normal and mediocre if my toes were just like everyone elses. I do not care about my toes. Do not forget, I am fearfully and wonderfully made... by Someone who knows how much I would love my little tootsies. World, don't hinder me with your standard of toe shapes!! I refuse to give in!!I love my toes and will let them shine!!!!

Angie, clearly I do not care! If God wanted us all to have boring toes like you... then we would. But He preferred to make some of us creatively!

I have loved you and all your little toesies from Day One. :) You ARE fearfully and wonderfully made by the One who knows each of us better than any other. What love and compliments your dad shared with us when he wrote you. I love that you and I are alike in so many ways, and actually including our toes. As I studied your "toe pics", I studied my toes. You got those sweet little piggies from me! Awesome! However in order to spare Holly and Angie from further agony, I will not post pictures of mine. :) I will agree however that you do need a pedicure and re-polish job! Dig out that gift from Holls and go for it! Do you have anything sparkly and girly? Let's polish our nails "togther" on the same day...name the date! Have I told you today how much I love you? XOXOXO

Those are "winter" toes. Polish left over from sandal weather, I'll bet! They are definitely different--shows us how different we all are, under the sox. Blessings and hurrah for having the guts to put your toes on display.

Bev,

Actually to 're-polish' means to re-patriate as a national Polish citizen, once you have given up your nationality as a Pole.

At one time, Polish nationalism was so strong that a Pole, travelling, for instance, from Poland to Switzerland, had to re-polish himself upon crossing back over the boarder into Poland, just to be able to vote in the next election, or to be eligible to become Pope, and other Polish stuff.

Chopin, the famous Polish composer, lived most of his life in other countries, but never gave up his love for his homeland, and much of the beauty of his music owes to the beauty of the Polish land and people.

He often travelled back home, and each time he did, he had to re-polish himself.

He was re-polished many times. But he never was so re-polished that his polish wore off like Joanna's has.

When she returns from Japan, she will have to re-america, and we will all help her to that.

Hey girlie, I was just looking at your beautiful toesies and I thought I would let you know that your toenail polish looks sooo much better than mine. I only have polish left of my two big toes because I am too lazy to get up and get polish remover. I hope you are having a blast on your mission. From the looks of your pictures you are having a great time. I will try to keep your mom company at work this weekend. I might have her show me her toes so I can see those "sweet little piggies" in person!!! She has been in good spirits even though her baby is so far away. Take care and keep sending us your fun blogs. I feel like I am right there with you.
