Anyway, the point of this blog is to tell you about a gal I'm getting to know through Blogger. She makes me laugh SO much and I love her blogs. I've never met her but she's amazing.

She has a lot of good insight; especially for women and ministry. She is pretty stellar. She likes Chris Thile, theology, and being different and quirky. I really appreciate the lessons I've been learning from her, which she'll never know about.
Anyway, I started looking at her blog around 10PM glad to be going to bed early; when I found some blogs that made me laugh hysertically.

Last night ... or was it early this morning? ... a couple of us over at Craig's blog were scoffing at an article written by a fundamentalist preacher who was getting blue in the face about women wearing pants. According to him, a woman who wears pants
1. IDENTIFIES HERSELF WITH A ROCK N' ROLL CULTURE OF SEX PERVERSION AND IDOLATRY!
2. COMMITS IDOLATRY, AND CAUSES MEN TO COMMIT IDOLATRY!
3. COMMITS ADULTERY, AND CAUSES MEN TO COMMIT ADULTERY
4. CAUSES MEN TO COMMIT THE SIN OF COVETOUSNESS
5. SINS BY WEARING MEN'S CLOTHING
6. IS CAUSING LASCIVIOUSNESS
7. WHEN A WOMAN WEARS PANTS, SHE IS IN TROUBLE WITH GOD JUST AS THE MAN IS IN TROUBLE, TOO!

Mary and I got a kick out of the article. I hope you enjoy it and learn some new things. I know my sister-in-laws would freak if they read that article so it'll be fun to talk to them about it on Skype some day. :)

Okay, so you might laugh, but I've seen these suits in action. Even ones that had sleeves and full pant legs. The best part was it was on a womens only beach! Pretty great. I thought about buying one for you when I was there and had I known that you would have wanted one I would have been all over it. Sorry!
Rachel, Rachel, Rachel!! What do I keep telling you? Those mind signals I am sending you must not be working correctly. How could you pass up a FULL bathing suit and not purchase one for me? ha ha! Glad to see you're reading my blog. Wish I were in bed but nope, still awake. What are you doing? Working?
if I see anything like that on my doorstep as a gift - I will refuse the shipment. HAHA!
Oh man. can you imagine us walking around in those things? Come to think of it, I"d pry do it as a dare and laugh all day and all my life about it.
Now I want one. haha!
